If you have not already heard, today, 25th October 2019, is World Everyone’s Favourite Carb Day, otherwise know as World Pasta day! London’s Italian cuisine scene is booming with a wave of new and authentic regional Italian food and proper pasta bars. Emilia’s Crafted Pasta will be giving away FREE pasta to everyone who visits their Aldgate restaurant on Friday, the 25th October between the times 12pm – 4pm and 5:30pm – 9.30pm. You will be able to choose from 7 of their signature fresh pasta dishes, including their famous fresh pappardelle with a 4-hour slow cooked Bolognese sauce, made with ‘pasture for life’ certified 100% grass-fed organic beef mince from a small farm outside of Bristol, made even more indulgent with the addition of fresh béchamel. There is 1 pasta dish per person per sitting - so yes, you can come for both lunch and dinner! It will be walk in only, no bookings available, so best to arrive quite early as it is likely to be busy!

Sketch offers a quirky, Michelin-starred dining experience for those seeking artistic interiors and delectable food. There are five distinct restaurants and bars within Sketch, each with their own personality. Perhaps take a pretty in pink photo in the Sketch Gallery, then head to the fanciful Lecture Room for a picture that will exude a regal aura as you pose against the crimson velvet chairs. Next visit the Parlour, which is an eccentric tea room that converts into a cocktail bar when the sun goes down. After that the Glade will transport you to a fairytale-esque forest, complete with fluffy forest-inspired carpet.
